In order to understand patient needs, measure patient satisfaction, align caregivers and improve the overall quality of patient care and patient satisfaction, state government is developing an application-based IT platform.
The projects under Ama Hospital initiative have been prioritised, the Electronics and IT department has been entrusted with the job to develop the application.
According to the sources, as many 147 hospitals with high caseload and referral units are being upgraded in terms of infrastructure and equipment at a cost of `750 crore.
Proper steps is taken to expedite the work simultaneously posting of required manpower in Ama Hospitals.
The Health and Family Welfare department has directed the chief district medical and public health officers to to take appropriate steps for proper documentation of the transformative works being done under the scheme with pre and post-status photos/videos.
This steps will help a lot in improving as with patient experience and feedback data, get an in-depth view of areas of improvement and plan action for improving processes.
