Fake Tobacco Manufacturing Unit Busted in Silver City

Cuttack (Reporters Today Bureau): The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch busted an adulterated tobacco manufacturing unit in Dahapatna area under Baranga police limits in Cuttack district late last night.

Acting on a tip-off about manufacturing, sale and storage of duplicate tobaccos, a STF team conducted a crackdown on the unit and arrested one Nibas Sahoo in this connection.

The cops also seized adulterated tobacco products weighing 2.5 quintal from the factory. The seized items were estimated to be around Rs 8 lakh.
