Odisha Logs 7,395 New Corona Infections
Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Odisha today witnessed a further dip in its daily jump of COVID-19 cases with 7,395 persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. With this, the state’s total caseload surged to 8,06,094.
Of new cases traced from 30 districts, 4,169 are quarantine cases and remaining 3,226 are local contact cases, informed the State Information & Public Relation (I&PR) Department today.
Total 70,313 samples were tested yesterday.
Khordha district continued to report over 1,000 cases as 1069 more persons contracted the virus. After Khordha, Cuttack and Jajpur recorded 868 and 516 cases, respectively.
