Around 26 May Cyclone Yaas To Reach Odisha-Wb coast

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that a low-pressure area is very likely to form over the north Andaman Sea and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal around May 22.

Subsequently, in 72 hours, it is very likely to intensify slowly into a cyclonic storm and probably reached Odisha-West Bengal coasts around May 26 evening added IMD

After intensifying into a cyclonic storm, it will be named Yaas.

The IMD also said that a continuous watch is being maintained over the Andaman Sea and adjoining Bay of Bengal region.
