Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has been prioritizing the sports sector in Sundargarh with the aim of bringing global talent to the forefront and bringing out the hidden talents of the district. Astro Turf Grounds  are being set up in 17 blocks of Sundargarh district with the aim of bringing global talent to the world.

Sports Minister Tusharkanti Behera, the observer of Sundergarh, Preeti Ranjan Ghadei and Rourkela MLA Sarada Prasad Nayak reviewed the construction of the Astro Turf Ground in the Bisra block. The Minister of Sports and the Sundargarh District observer visited Sundargarh for a two-day meeting and held talks with the officials involved in the construction work there.

Since becoming the Sundergarh observer, young MLA Preeti Ranjan Ghadai has been monitoring the development work in the district on a regular basis. He also attended the Astro Turf Ground Construction Review and participated in discussions with officials.

In addition, Hockey Ground of Koida, Lahunipada, Banai, Gurundia and Lathikata blocks were also reviewed by Mr. Ghadei. He also played hockey at the Vishal Block Valulata SSD High School grounds. On this occasion, Ghadei received the hospitality of the tribal people of the area. Mingled with them in dancing. He did not hesitate to explain the importance of nutritious food to the tribals.
