Asit Tripathy, The New Head of WODC

Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): Asit Tripathy, the outgoing Chief Secretary has been appointed as the Chairman of Western Odisha Development Council. The Odisha government has cleared Asit’s retirement just before five days of his retirement date.

In Naveen’s govt. every talents are being engaged in various fields with respected posts with the expectation for the development of the State. He will also be the Principal Advisor to Chief Minister on Regional Development, Tourism, Agribusiness and Industry.

The 1986-batch IAS Asit Kumar Tripathy was appointed as the Chief Secretary of Odisha with effect from August 19, 2019, replacing Aditya Prakash Padhi.
