A Filmsy Suicide Attempt

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Bidyashree, wife of social worker late Aditya Dash attempts suicide by consuming sleeping pills yesterday. Reports say she has been rescued and admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital.

The suicide attempt has been filmed and uploaded by Bidyashree on her Social media, Facebook handle. In the video, Bidyashree alleged that she was being blamed for his husband’s death and was also mentally harassed. In the video, Bidyashree also showed a diary and stated she has mentioned everything in the diary about people frequently harassing her and will be responsible for her death.

The woman has sought stern punishment against those persons as per law. Bidyashree also expressed extreme disappointment on the delay in judicial proceedings and justice to her family and husband after his death. Aditya Dash, a renowned motivational speaker and social worker from Bhubaneswar was found dead on the railway track near Lingaraj Temple Road station.

The death occurred in the State Capital city on July 7 following which GRP registered a case and launched a probe to find out whether he was killed or committed suicide. Police had also recovered CCTV footage from  Aditya’s house and the railway station to get lead in this case. This is a developing story. Further details awaited.
