Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): Some Builders, Dhaba owners and similar business man are running illegal news portals in Bhubaneswar. They neither have RNI number nor qualified journalists. They only run their portals for the promotion of their business.

The news traders came out from the hole in the time of Corona epidemic, what it means? Sources said, they gain much more benefits from everywhere by showing themselves as news company owner. Sometime the self proclaimed portal owner from various fields reach for news collection as a reporter. Now question is that, how many news organisation’s owner are going to field for news coverage ? The so called portal owners are only meant to extract supreme benefits.

They obtain valid passes during this pandemic tenure and move freely to execute their illegal activities. Some irrelevant news items are posted in these sites with purchasing just a domain. The real journalists in reputed institutions are being felt insult by the quality of the news published in these illegal portals.

The owner of these illegal portals are using sophisticated vehicles, where as the experienced and reputed newsmen can not dream to do so. We appeal to Odisha Government to inquire seriously these matters and help the genuine newsmen to regain their respect.
