Illegal Medicines Seized in Balangir

Balangir: The Balangir Town police today conducted a raid at a beetle shop near the government bus stand here and seized huge quantity of illegal cough syrup and other medicines.

The police detained the shop keeper, the nabbed person identified as Sameer Naik. Sources said, Sameer was carrying out the illegal cough syrup trade since a long period of time.

He has allegedly he is continuously developed a huge customer group in the town and supplied the syrup. A case has been registered against Sameer at Bolangir Town police station  and he will be produced before the court tomorrow.
