BJD continues victory march

Reporters Today, Bhubaneswar: The trend in the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls in Odisha shows that the ruling BJD has taken the lead over its rival BJP and the Congress.
As per the latest trend, out of 146 Assembly seats, the BJD is leading in 100 seats.
Similarly, out of 21 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP is leading in 5 and the BJD in 10 seats while the Congress is yet to open its account.
There was jubiliation before the counting Centres as BJD supporters cheered as news about party candidate was announced.
The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has arranged for easy and comfortable viewing of the counting process, which will be held on Thursday and live updates on election for citizens of the temple city at five places in the city.
While the Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha has installed a 10X12 LED screen at Biju Patnaik Park (Forest Park), BDA has taken responsibility of the sitting arrangements for 400 people under proper cover to give them relief from the hot summer.
BDA isl supplying drinking water to the people who come and listen to discussions and live updates on TV inside the enclosure.
A giant LED screen has been placed on the lawns of Biju Patnaik Park near its main entrance atop a raised platform.
Similarly BDA is also using four of its exiting LEDs at Kalpana Square, Kalinga Hospital Square, Rupali Square, and near Lingaraj Temple where people have gathered in large numbers.
