Poll panel notifies second phase LS, Assembly elections

Surjit Kumar Dhal,Bhubaneswar, March 19: The Election Commission has notified the second phase polls in Odisha to be held on April 18

According to the notification, polling will be held for five Lok Sabha seats in Bargarh (General), Sundargarh (ST), Balangir (General), Kandhamal (General) and Aska (General) and 35 Assembly seats under these constituencies in the second phase.

The ruling BJD has already announced the list of candidates for the first two phases while Congress has announced the first phase only.
