Winter Chill Grips Koida as Mercury Drops Below 15°C

Koida: Winter has set in at Koida in Sundargarh district, with temperatures dropping below 15°C and cold conditions being felt during early mornings and nights.

Residents are heading to parks for morning walks, yoga and exercise to stay fit, while people in several slum areas are gathering around fires at night to keep warm.

Meanwhile, locals have raised concerns over the poor maintenance of a park in the area, citing overgrown grass, broken tree branches along pathways and damaged exercise equipment. They have urged the authorities to take steps to improve the park’s condition and restore its facilities.
