Women’s T20 Asia Cup: India to take on Hong Kong in their second Group A match in Dubai today

Dubai: In Women’s Cricket, India will face Hong Kong, China in their second Group A match of the T20 Asia Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium today.

The match will begin at 8 PM IST. India started their campaign with a convincing 94-run victory over Thailand on Sunday. A win against Hong Kong would strengthen the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side’s chances of securing a place in the semifinals.

In Wednesday’s Group B fixture, Sri Lanka defeated Indonesia by 75 runs. After posting 124 for seven, Sri Lanka bowled Indonesia out for 49 in 18.3 overs.

Chamari Athapaththu was named Player of the Match after claiming seven wickets.

The eight-team tournament is being played in Dubai, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals.
