Five injured in wild boar attack in Kendrapada

Sathiabati : Panic has gripped Sathiabati village under the Mahakalapada Tehsil of Odisha’s Kendrapada district after a wild boar strayed into the locality and attacked the locals, injuring five.

As per the reports, a wild boar had entered the village and went on an attacking spree to two women and three men.

The injured persons have been rushed to Mahakalpada Community Health Centre where they are undergoing treatment.

A state of panic gripped the villagers at the sight of the wild animal and several rushed inside their homes to avoid being attacked further.

However, later, the locals managed to inform the concerned authorities after which the forest department officials are to monitor the situation and take steps to ensure no such incidents recur.
