Love-sex-dhokha in Bhubaneswar: Youth arrested for sexually assaulting a girl

Bhubaneswar: A 24-year-old youth held for alleged sexual assault of girl over false marriage promise in the State Capital city.

The accused has been identified as Debashish Pradhan, from Tikabali in Odisha’s Kandhamal district.

As per sources, the accused who was working at a mall in Bhubaneswar got acquainted with the complainant, who was staying at a hostel here for her studies in the Nayapalli area, through a social media application.

After they became friends, they started living together in a live-in relationship, where Pradhan established physical relation with the woman promising to marry her.

The accused later backtracked on his marriage promise and the girl lodged a complaint with the Nayapalli police.

Following which, the Nayapalli police registered a case and arrested the accused youth.
