Petrol pump looted at gun point in Balasore

Balasore: An armed robbery was reported at a petrol pump in Odisha’s Balasore district after two miscreants allegedly looted cash at gunpoint.

The incident took place at the Darada Petrol Pump in Baliapal around 11:22 PM on Friday night.

As per reports, an employee was attending to a customer at the petrol pump, when a couple of men arrived on a Bullet motorcycle.

Pointing a pistol at him, the duo created a sense of fear and threatened the petrol pump employee to hand over cash from the counter.

They subsequently snatched the cash and absconded from the spot.

CCTV cameras installed at the petrol pump recorded the entire episode.

On being informed, police reached the spot and have initiated a probe into the case.
