Vaibhav Sooryavanshi records fastest fifty in List A cricket while playing against Sri Lanka

New Delhi: The 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi comes first on the list for the fastest fifty in List A last day of the Tri-Nation A Series 2026 against Sri Lanka. Sooryavanshi makes this record in just 11 balls.
This comes as a big achievement for the 15-year-old as he hits and records fastest fifty ever made in List A Tri-Nation A Series 2026.
Sooryavanshi came on the field after a controversy with Sri Lanka A players and showed them who he really is. This time instead of fighting face to face he made sure the sound when the ball hits the bat is louder to the rivalry team.
The 15-year-old has surpassed Sri Lanka’s Kaushalya Weeraratne, who made fastest fifty in 12 balls during domestic game in the 2005-06 season.
This will also be called as the fastest fifty made by any Indian in List A cricket. To do this he hit 10 fours, eight sixes and only three singles for his 29-ball 94. He failed to make a well deserved hundred from the last match.
Vaibhav showed his aggressive intent right away. Opening with Priyansh Arya, he hit his very first ball from Mohamed Shiraz straight back over the bowler’s head for a boundary.
