Prof Asima Sahu Appointed In-Charge Vice-Chancellor of Berhampur University

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor and Chancellor of state universities, Hari Babu Kambhampati, on Tuesday appointed Prof Asima Sahu as the In-Charge Vice-Chancellor of Berhampur University.

Prof Sahu will take on the additional responsibility while continuing in her current role at Khallikote Unitary University.

According to an official notification, the appointment has been made under the provisions of Sub-section (10) of Section 6 of the Odisha Universities Act, 1989.

Her tenure comes into immediate effect and will remain valid for six months, or until a regular Vice-Chancellor is appointed, or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier.
