Sundargarh: In a late-night operation, police in Sundargarh district foiled a suspected dacoity attempt and arrested four youths who were allegedly planning a robbery near Kumbahala Chowk on the Biju Expressway under Sundargarh Sadar Police Station limits.

Acting on specific intelligence inputs, a police team conducted a raid at a secluded location on Sunday night. During the operation, officers apprehended four suspects and seized a country-made firearm, two live cartridges, one bullet, an electric scooter, along with knives, iron rods, six masks, and other materials believed to have been intended for use in the crime.
