Odisha Governor Appoints Vice Chancellors for 14 Universities

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, in his capacity as Chancellor, on Monday appointed Vice Chancellors for 14 universities across the state, exercising powers under the Odisha Universities Act, 1989.
According to an official press release issued by Lok Bhavan, Prof. Santosh Kumar Tripathy has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Fakir Mohan University. Prof. Arka Kumar Das Mohapatra will head Ravenshaw University, while Prof. Chandi Prasad Nanda has been named Vice Chancellor of Utkal University.

Prof. Sanjaya Kumar Patro has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Dharanidhar University, and Prof. Byomakesh Tripathy will lead Gangadhar Meher University.
Among other appointments, Prof. Asima Sahu has been named Vice Chancellor of Khallikote Unitary University, Prof. Sibaram Tripathy of Madhusudan Law University, and Prof. Pawan Kumar Agrawal of Maa Manikeshwari University. Prof. Mahendra Kumar Mohanty will head Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, while Prof. Jyotsna K.B. Rout has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Rama Devi Women’s University.
Prof. Bibhuti Bhusan Malik will take charge as Vice Chancellor of Rajendra University, and Prof. Prabhat Kumar Mohapatra has been appointed to lead Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University.
In addition, Prof. Hrushikesh Senapaty has been named Vice Chancellor of Vikram Dev University, while Prof. Satyanarayan Acharya will head Odia University.
The Governor extended his best wishes to all the newly appointed Vice Chancellors, expressing confidence that they would play a key role in strengthening academic leadership and shaping the future of higher education in Odisha.
