Woman’s Body Recovered from Pond Near Kali Temple in Sambalpur

Kuchinda: In a tragic incident, the body of a woman was recovered from a pond near a Kali temple in Kuchinda area of Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Sunday morning.

According to reports, local residents noticed the body floating in the pond and immediately alerted the police.

Acting swiftly, Kuchinda police along with fire services personnel reached the spot and launched a recovery operation. The body was later retrieved from the water.

The deceased woman’s identity is yet to be established. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Police have initiated a probe into the incident and are investigating all possible angles.
