Sundargarh Police Seize Ganja Worth Rs 30 Lakh
Sundargarh police achieved a major breakthrough in their anti-narcotics drive by seizing illegal ganja worth nearly Rs 30 lakh during a raid.
Acting on reliable intelligence, police intercepted a truck transporting contraband. The vehicle travelled from Sambalpur through Rourkela en route to Punjab. Officers discovered a large quantity of ganja hidden inside and seized the truck used for the smuggling operation.
Authorities arrested two members of an inter-state smuggling racket linked to the case. Police confirmed that further investigation continues to identify additional individuals connected to the illegal trade.
The raid followed directives from the Sundargarh Superintendent of Police. Officials emphasised their commitment to curbing narcotics trafficking in the region.
