Three Youths Killed in Fiery Highway Accident in Sambalpur

Kuchinda (Sambalpur): Three youths lost their lives in a tragic road accident on National Highway-53 under the Jamankira police limits in Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Monday.

According to reports, the victims were travelling from Jamankira towards Sambalpur on a motorcycle when it collided head-on with a container truck coming from the opposite direction. The impact was so severe that the motorcycle was crushed under the container’s wheels.

Following the collision, both the motorcycle and the container caught fire, leaving the three youths trapped. They died on the spot before any help could reach them.

Locals immediately alerted the fire brigade, which rushed to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control after some time.

The front portion of the container was severely damaged in the accident, while the motorcycle was completely gutted in the fire. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
