CM Majhi Mourns Demise of Senior Journalist Ashutosh Mishra

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior journalist Ashutosh Mishra, describing his passing as an irreparable loss to the journalism fraternity in the state.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister extended his sympathies to the bereaved family members and prayed to Lord Jagannath for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Taking to his X handle, Majhi said he was deeply saddened to learn about the passing of the veteran journalist and noted that his demise has created a huge void in Odisha’s media landscape.

Ashutosh Mishra was widely respected for his fearless and principled reporting. Known for his commitment to ethical journalism and factual reporting, he earned recognition and admiration across the state’s media fraternity for maintaining high professional standards throughout his career.

Meanwhile, the Leader of Opposition also expressed grief over Mishra’s demise, remembering him for his sharp political insights and dedication to objective journalism.
