The IMD said dry weather is very likely to prevail across Odisha over the next few days. However, shallow to moderate fog may occur in some coastal districts during the early morning hours.

Looking ahead, the weather office has indicated the possibility of light rain or thunderstorms at isolated places in northern districts from March 8, accompanied by lightning and gusty surface winds of 30–40 kmph under a Yellow Warning.

The IMD also stated that no major change in maximum temperatures is expected over the next five days, after which temperatures may increase by 2–3°C across the state.
