Youths Storm Bhubaneswar Guest House, Assault Staff and Loot Cash; Three Detained

Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped the Khandagiri area of the city late last night after a group of youths allegedly barged into a guest house, assaulted staff members and looted cash from the premises.

The incident occurred at a guest house in the Gandamunda locality under Khandagiri police limits. According to preliminary reports, the accused forcibly entered the building and attacked employees who were on duty at the time.

The youths allegedly looted money from the cash counter and physically assaulted the staff. They also reportedly attempted to attack a woman staying at the guest house, further escalating tension at the scene.

Upon receiving information, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. Three youths have been detained in connection with the incident and taken to the police station for questioning.

Police have launched an investigation to establish the exact sequence of events and to determine whether more persons were involved. Officials said further details are expected to emerge after the interrogation of the detained suspects.
