Car crashed into 10 bikes in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A car crashed into at least 10 parked bikes and scooters in Sambalpur of Odisha yesterday night. The series accident took place at the Ainthapali Chhaka in Sambalpur city under Aithapali Police limits.

As per the information received, the driver of the car lost control over the steering and rammed the roadside vehicles, causing extensive damage. The impact of the collision was so severe that the car’s engine got separated from the vehicle.

The driver narrowly escaped unhurt. However, local residents alleged that the driver was drunk at the time of the accident.

After getting the information Police rushed to the spot, seized the car and initiated investigation into the matter.

Further probe of the matter is underway.
