‘Ganati Manati’ of Ratna Bhandar to be done on an auspicious time

Puri: The management committee today approved the revised guidelines for the inventory of the gems and jewellery of the Ratna Bhandar of the Shrimandir in Puri of Odisha. In the managing committee it was decided that after recommendation by the Government of Odisha, the ‘Ganati Manati’ (inventory) will be done at an auspicious time.
It was further informed that the date for this will be fixed and given to the state government. The devotees’ darshan will not be affected during the inventory. Darshan will be done at that time from the ‘Bahara Katha’.
After the management committee meeting ended, Shrimandir Chief Administrator Arabinda Padhee informed about this today.
Similarly, the meeting also discussed the Gundicha temple matter. Now, Gundicha temple will not be auctioned again. Gundicha temple will be opened after the management committee members of the Shrimandir visit. The entry fee for devotees has been kept at Rs 10. Mobile and shoe stands will be free.
Besides, the parking fee, which was Rs 500 in the Bhakta Nivas, has been reduced to Rs 240 instead of 500. This will be implemented from tomorrow.
Similarly, mobile phone restrictions have been imposed on the servitors. They can use phones in the branch office for talking. Action will be taken against those who will use their mobile phones openly.
