Vande Bharat Express delayed for two hours near Soro of Balasore

Soro: Vande Bharat Express remained stranded for at least two hours near Soro in Balasore district of Odisha on Monday night. This happened after a technical snag was found in the down train travelling from Puri to Howrah.

According to the reports, the train was forced to halt about one kilometer before Soro railway station near Badei Sahi after a pressure pipe burst. The incident occurred around 9 pm, following which the train remained stationary till 11:20 pm.

Railway sources confirmed that all passengers on board are safe. On receiving information, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) rushed to the spot and initiated an inquiry into the incident.

Train services resumed after the technical issue was rectified.
