Road Safety Awareness Drive Intensified in Jajpur District

Jajpur: Road safety awareness initiatives are gaining momentum in Jajpur district, with Jakhapura Police and Byree Police stepping up efforts to curb traffic violations while educating the public on safe road practices.

As part of the drive, police teams conducted special awareness programmes involving students of M.H.D. Chhatia College. The students actively participated in interactions focused on the importance of following traffic rules, wearing helmets, and using seatbelts to prevent serious injuries and save lives.

Alongside awareness activities, the police also carried out strict enforcement drives against traffic violations to ensure compliance with road safety norms. Officials highlighted that a combination of enforcement and education is essential to reduce accidents and promote responsible behaviour on the roads.

Police authorities reiterated that such awareness campaigns will continue across the district, especially targeting youth, to build a strong culture of road safety and responsible driving.
