Bus Hits Tractor in Sambalpur: 3 Critical

Sambalpur: In a tragic incident at least 3 persons turned critical after a bus hit a tractor in Sambalpur district of Odisha today morning. The incident took place in front of the Rampela Jio Petrol Pump under Rengali police station limits.

As per reports, a passenger bus hit a tractor from behind, leaving 3 people critically injured and over 40 passengers sustaining injuries. The bus, carrying more than 40 passengers, was headed from Jharsuguda to Sambalpur when the accident occurred.

The tractor driver was thrown off and fell on the road due to the impact. The driver and two bus passengers were seriously injured and shifted to Burla Bada Medical College for treatment.

The Rengali police have seized the accident vehicles and are investigating the incident.
