OPPO Reno15 series launching in India soon

OPPO has confirmed that it will soon bring the Reno15 series to India, and this time there’s more going on than a routine refresh. The lineup will include three phones — the Reno15 5G, Reno15 Pro 5G, and, for the first time in the Reno family, a Reno15 Pro Mini 5G. 91mobiles had revealed exclusive details about the model in a report earlier. OPPO has also put up official microsites on its own website as well as on Amazon and Flipkart, which usually means the launch is right around the corner.

The big talking point here is the Pro Mini. Compact phones have quietly been making a comeback, especially among users who are tired of carrying around large, heavy slabs. OPPO seems to be leaning into that shift by offering a smaller, easier-to-handle phone without stripping away the premium look the Reno series is known for. The Reno15 Pro Mini features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, slim bezels, and a weight of around 187 gms, making it one of the more pocket-friendly premium phones expected in this segment.

Design remains front and centre, as you’d expect from a Reno phone. OPPO is introducing what it calls HoloFusion Technology, which gives the back panel a layered, three-dimensional effect that changes subtly as light hits it. Instead of looking flashy, the finish appears more textured and refined. The camera module also gets a new square-ring treatment that blends more smoothly into the back, rather than looking like a separate block on top.
Colour choices vary across the lineup. The Reno15 Pro comes in Sunset Gold and Cocoa Brown, while the Pro Mini keeps Cocoa Brown and adds Glacier White. The standard Reno15 offers Glacier White, Twilight Blue, and Aurora Blue. OPPO is using colours and finishes to help each model stand out, even though the overall design language stays consistent.

OPPO is also putting a lot of emphasis on durability this year. The Reno15 series uses an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and an internal shock-absorbing structure inspired by sea sponges, which is meant to soften the impact from accidental drops. The phones are IP66, IP68, and IP69 rated across the lineup.
On the display side, all three phones use AMOLED panels with adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz. The Reno15 Pro sits at the top with a 6.78-inch screen, ultra-thin bezels, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The Pro Mini at 6.32 inches and the regular Reno15 step down slightly in size and glass protection but still promise high brightness levels and good outdoor visibility.
Competition in this price range is fierce. Brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, and Vivo offer strong alternatives that focus more on raw performance or larger batteries. Where OPPO may win is with design, durability, and the option of a genuinely compact Pro phone.
