Plus II Student Stabbed on Mayurbhanj College Campus, Critical

Bhubaneswar: A Plus II student of BB College at Baigana Badia in Mayurbhanj district was critically injured after being stabbed by a fellow student on the college campus on Monday.

The victim, identified as Prahalad Bindhani, was first taken to Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital in Baripada. As his condition worsened due to severe injuries and internal bleeding, he was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, where he remains in critical condition.

The incident triggered widespread outrage, with students and locals staging protests outside the college demanding strict action. The college gate has been locked, and tension prevails in the area.

Meanwhile, Kuliana police have detained the accused student and launched an investigation into the attack.
