Over 17 Lakh Women Added to Subhadra Yojana After Verification

During the Odisha Assembly session, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced that more than 17 lakh women joined the Subhadra Yojana after field verification.


She informed the House that 17,83,251 women have enrolled in the scheme so far. Moreover, 97,51,479 beneficiaries have already received all three instalments under the program. In addition, 1,03,89,801 women collected the first instalment, while 1,01,92,724 beneficiaries accessed the second instalment.

Parida emphasised that the government remains committed to ensuring transparency and accountability in the scheme’s implementation. Furthermore, she explained that including women after ground-level verification strengthens the credibility of Subhadra Yojana and ensures genuine beneficiaries receive support.

The Deputy CM highlighted that the scheme continues to empower women across Odisha by providing financial assistance in instalments. She also reiterated that the government will monitor progress closely and expand outreach to cover more households in the coming months.
