Central Range Police Conduct Major Naka Drive on 24 Nov, Check 1,939 Vehicles

Bhubaneswar: The Central Range Police carried out a large-scale naka and patrolling operation on 24 November 2025 across seven districts, during which 1,939 vehicles were inspected. The drive was conducted as part of routine enforcement efforts to monitor road behaviour and maintain discipline among motorists.
The inspections led to the collection of ₹9,27,034 in fines for various traffic violations. Officials noted that stricter surveillance and increased vigilance have contributed to identifying a higher number of offenders and ensuring immediate corrective action.

Authorities said the Central Range will continue such enforcement activities regularly to strengthen road safety. The objective, they added, is to reduce violations, prevent accidents, and create a safer environment for commuters across the region.
