Congress MLA Sagar Charan Das Receives Death Threat in Kalahandi

Bhubaneswar: Congress MLA from Bhawanipatna, Sagar Charan Das, has alleged that he received a death threat from unidentified miscreants.

According to Das, the attackers reportedly assaulted the Bhawanipatna Zone President and demanded the MLA’s personal details and whereabouts. When the party functionary refused to provide the information, the miscreants allegedly threatened to kill the MLA and conveyed the message through him.

Expressing serious concern over the incident, Das said, “If an elected MLA is unsafe in Odisha under the current law and order situation, I worry for the safety of the public.”
