OPSC Declares Odisha Civil Services Exam 2023 Results; 398 Candidates Qualify

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Thursday announced the results of the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Examination-2023, with a total of 398 candidates, including 144 women, qualifying for appointment to various Group-A and Group-B posts.
According to the merit list released by the Commission, Priyanshu Pal has topped the OCS Examination 2023, followed by Ananya Mishra in second place and Sovan Pattanaik in third. Mirza Faiz Ahmed Quadri secured the fourth position, while Chinmaya Sahu and Antim Swain ranked fifth and sixth respectively.

The seventh to tenth positions were bagged by Shailesh Kumar Bhoi, Mohommad Nazif Hatif, Chinmaya Kumar Padhi, and Milan Mohapatra. Notably, Ananya Mishra is the only woman among the top ten successful candidates.
The Main (Written) examination for OCS 2023 was conducted between April 19 and May 15, followed by the Personality Tests held from September 6 to 18.
“In accordance with the results of the Main (Written) and Personality Tests of the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2023, the Commission recommends 398 candidates, including 144 women, for appointment to the posts/services under the Odisha Civil Services (Group-A & B), pursuant to Advertisement No. 20 of 2023-24,” the OPSC stated in its official notification.
