Online game claims life of nursing student in Balasore

Balasore: Online game has claimed the life of a nursing student in Balasore district of Odisha recently. He was found dead in the surgery ward of the District Headquarter hospital in Balasore.

The deceased student has been identified as 20-year-old Roumya Ranjan Samal. He was a student of BSC Nursing.

As per reports, last night, an employee of the hospital first found the student dead in the dressing room of the Surgery ward of the District Headquarter Hospital.

Roumya Ranjan’s father is an employee of the District Headquarter Hospital. The family is devastated by the loss of their only son.

It has been suspected that the student died after losing money in online games.

Police investigation of the matter is underway.
