4 platoons of Police force deployed at Utkal University to vacate unauthorized occupied staff quarters
Bhubaneswar: Action has been initiated to vacate unauthorised occupied staff quarters in Utkal University premises in the capital city of Odisha today. As many as 4 platoons of police force have been deployed.
As per reports, notice had been issued earlier to vacate the staff quarters at the Utkal University. The Utkal University administration had issued a notice on the 9th of September to all those who occupied the University’s government quarters without any authorization.
The VC had issued order that all the unauthorized occupied official residences should be vacated by 5 pm yesterday. Some of them have now been vacated, while many have yet occupied.
Accordingly, four platoons of Police force have now been deployed to vacate the still unauthorized govt quarters.
