Naveen gives Mantra to senior BJD leaders

Bhubaneswar: The leder of opposition and the BJD party supremo Naveen has advised senior party leaders to be involved in the problems of the people and become the voice of the people of the state.
Yesterday afternoon, several senior party leaders met Naveen and discussed the current situation in the state. Naveen advised party leaders to be the voice of the people. MLA Arun Sahu said that BJD will fight hard to address the problems of the people.
Under Naveen’s leadership, BJD’s victory in the 2027 panchayat elections and 2029 general elections is certain. BJD will take to the streets in the coming days to protest the anti-people activities of the state government.
Since the BJP, which calls itself the people’s government, came to power, the law and order situation in the state has completely collapsed. While farmers are not getting fertilizer, the government is encouraging widespread black marketing. People are facing unspeakable hardships in the healthcare sector.
While Odisha is being condemned nationally and internationally for women’s safety, the government is sleeping soundly. Developmental work has come to a standstill in every sector. BJP, which came to power based on ‘Odia asmita’, is spoiling the same with every passing day. In the coming days, Biju Janata Dal, as the voice of the people of the state, will strongly oppose every anti-people act of the BJP government.
The Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik wrote a letter to the Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers highlighting the short supply of Urea and fertilizers in the state.
The letter read, “Fertilizer being a major input to Agriculture production, its smooth supply is very crucial for crop growth during Khariff. The farmers of Odisha are now facing a major problem in obtaining urea during this ongoing Khariff Season. Short-supply of urea along with it’s black marketing and adulteration, is a major concern for our farmers now in the start of the Khariff Season.”
The LoP further added in the letter, “in many districts particularly in tribal districts, the farmers are on an agitation path due to non-availability of urea. If not addressed timely, it may cause serious disruption of farm activities which will impact production and also affect the livelihood of farmers.”
