Class IX Student Dies During Ganesh Puja Celebrations in Balasore School

Balasore: A Class IX student collapsed and died while dancing during Ganesh Puja celebrations at Radhamadhab Jew High School under Nilagiri police limits in Balasore district on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Priyanshu Pritam Dasbabu (15), son of Laxmi Narayan Dasbabu of Siadimal village.

According to reports, after the completion of puja rituals at the school, students began dancing as part of the festivities. Priyanshu, who was participating along with his classmates, suddenly fell unconscious on the school premises.

Teachers and staff rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him brought dead.

The sudden demise of the teenager has cast a pall of gloom over the school and the local community.
