Former Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Hospitalised
Naveen Patnaik, former Chief Minister of Odisha and current Leader of Opposition, was admitted to SUM Ultimate Hospital in Bhubaneswar on Sunday following complaints of dehydration.
According to sources, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president’s condition is stable, and he is undergoing medical evaluation and treatment.
“Shri Naveen Patnaik was admitted to SUM Ultimate Medicare, Bhubaneswar, at 5:15 PM today due to dehydration. His condition is stable, and he is responding well to treatment,” the Hospital authorities confirmed.
On June 22, 2025, Patnaik underwent a successful spine surgery for cervical arthritis at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
