75% attendance compulsory in all colleges

Reporters Today: 75% Minimum attendance is currently required for all colleges of the State including private ones, informed Higher Education department.

Higher Education Secretary Saswat Mishra wrote a letter to college Principals briefing that students having more than 75% attendance will be only eligible to appear for the annual examination. In case any student fails to be present in classes for the required period, he/she will be asked to attend extra classes.
