7 more Covid positive cases found in Odisha

Bhubaneswar/ Cuttack: Corona pandemic fury has returned to the state of Odisha once again. Of course, as per experts this Omicron variant is not that much deadly, but still reports suggest that Covid has already claimed 4 lives in the country; not in Odisha.

As many as 7 more patients have tested positive for Covid. Accordingly, the total cases of Covid in the state has increased to 45. However so far 12 corona patients have recovered.  Hence, the number of active corona cases in the state now is 33, informed Public Health Director Dr. Nilakant Mishra.

On the other hand Cuttack CDMO Prashanta Kumar Hota has informed that out of the total toll of Covid patients in the country, 22 patients have been identified in Cuttack. Five of them have been admitted to the hospital for treatment while all the others are undergoing treatment at home and health condition of all of them  is stable.

Dr. Hota advised not to panic about Covid but also suggested to take precautions.

If any person shows symptoms of corona, they should stay at home and wear a mask, CDMO Dr. Prashant Hota has advised.
