Odisha FC bounce back with a convincing 4-0 victory over eastern sporting union 

Odisha FC faced Eastern Sporting Union in an early morning kick off on Wednesday at the Transstadia Stadium, Ahmedabad. After a defeat in their last outing, Odisha FC came out all guns blazing to beat Eastern Sporting by 4-0.

Anju opened the scoring in the 17th minute, courtesy of a delightful assist from Bala. Anju then returned the favor in the 25th minute with a teasing cross that Bala headed into the net to double Odisha FC’s lead. OFC went to the half time with a comfortable 2-0 lead.

OFC had a perfect start to the 2nd half with Grace making an immediate impact by delivering a precise cross to Jasoda who scored to make it 3-0 for OFC.

Eastern Union tried to play some long balls to put pressure on OFC but the defence was unmoved. Lynda closed the a perfect morning by scoring OFC’s fourth goal with virtually last kick of the game. The game ended with OFC emerging victorious with a score of 4-0.

Odisha FC will next face Churchill Brothers FC at the Shahibaug Police Stadium on 5th May at 8:00 AM.
