3-Year-Old Killed, Parents Injured After Motorcycle Falls Off Bridge in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a three-year-old boy and left his parents injured after their motorcycle fell off a bridge on National Highway 16 near Dahania Gadia Square in Bhadrak on Tuesday.

According to reports, the family, residents of Malati Patna in Mayurbhanj district, was travelling to Bhubaneswar when the mishap occurred. Their motorcycle was allegedly hit by a pickup van, causing the vehicle to lose balance and plunge off the bridge.

The child died due to the impact, while both parents sustained injuries in the crash. They were immediately rescued and shifted to Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Police have begun an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the accident.
