24-Year-Old Dies of Electrocution in Balangir

Bhubaneswar/Balangir: A 24-year-old man died after being electrocuted in a tragic mishap at Ghunesh village under Turekela police limits in Balangir district late Wednesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Durje Bhati. According to reports, the incident occurred around 10 pm while he was removing an electric bulb at a Ganesh mandap. He sustained a severe electric shock and collapsed on the spot.

Villagers rushed him to Turekela Hospital in critical condition, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. The incident has left the local community in shock and grief.
