20 foot long python rescued from Govt quarter

Khallikote: In a rare incident, a 20 foot long python was rescued by the Forest Department from a government quarter in Ganjam district of Odisha on Wednesday. The huge snake was rescued in Khallikote.
As per reports, the huge python snake entered the government quarter of Khallikote hospital that belong to an employee of the hospital named Padmanabh Rao. Yesterday evening Rao first spotted the snake while he was inside his quarters. He shut the door and hid himself inside.
He was scared and sat inside the house with the door closed. After this, another medical staff informed the forest department about the huge snake.
On receiving the information, four forest department staff reached the spot and rescued the python. Upon observation it was seen that the python was 20 feet long and weighed 40 kg.
The forest officials rescued the snake and later released it into its natural habitat at a lonely place into the forest.
