2 arrested in Bhubaneswar Mausi Maa Chhaka bomb blast incident

Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police arrested two persons on Saturday in the bomb blast incident that took place at the Mausi Maa chhaka in Bhubaneswar of Odisha Wednesday.

The two arrested accused persons have been identified as Gopinath Rout and Priyabrata Swain.

As per reports, two rival groups had faced off at Laxmi Sagar area then they moved towards Kalpana square. Later, near the Mausi Maa chhaka, when argument was going in between the two groups, the bomb somehow slipped from the hand of a youth and exploded injuring one of the youths. He has been admitted to hospital in a critical condition.

And today the two accused persons including the main accused got arrested.
