16th Finance Commission Visits Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Dr. Arvind Panagariya, Chairman of the 16th Finance Commission, and other members arrived in Bhubaneswar today for a four-day visit to Odisha. During their visit, the commission will explore key sites, including Khandagiri, Udayagiri, and Kaalabhomi.

On February 5, they will visit Puri to seek blessings from Lord Jagannath and then proceed to the Konark Temple.

On February 6, the commission is scheduled to meet with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and state bureaucrats. A press conference will be held after the meeting to share the discussions and outcomes of the visit.
